Values / how I derive pleasure from life:

Ability to be intimate with another
Ability to love and receive love in return
Being inspired
Inspiring others
Being "urge proof"
Meaning in life
Good physical health
Integrity that is deep to my core
Ability to be honest with myself
Being honest with others
Free from partitions to hide aspects of my life from self and others
Zest for life
Making true and lasting friendships with others
The ability to love again
Doing all that I do with a clear conscience.
Living my life guilt free
Feeling strong from the inside out
Taking my physical fitness to a higher level and always pursuing a higher level

and welcome to RN
please hit the reply key when posting so that your thread remains a thread
this makes it easy for you to refer back and you should refer back indeed I am going to suggest that you do so later

if you really do want to improve your life and to recover from your addiction then you are at a good place to make that wish reality
Commit , fully and completely please do not simply do the lessons to tick a box as I fear you are doing thus far
work through the lessons and understand them , if you miss something ask on the help forum , assistance is always on hand
coaches and mentors are likely to drop by occasionally but if not, don't worry as this is generally a good indicator that you are on the right path

the path is long and difficult but it is well proven and you are not alone
we usually suggest completing about 3 lessons a week but spending time every day posting and reading
get to know your addiction and see yourself with honesty and openness

remember to work at your own pace and its not a race indeed some consider recovery to be a journey rather than a destination

your reasons for change are generally solid as they are positive and about you
now the suggestion that you move back before moving on
My vision:
Extinguish my sexual addiction to allow myself to focus on intimacy with one person To take back productive time stolen by my addiction. To return my focus with no distractions. To live an honest simple, loving life without the need to lie or deceive.

is that it?
your vision for your life is to rid your self of addiction GREAT that is why we are all here , but what next?
life is a gift life needs to be lived
come on lets get to see you
please expand this two line vision

your vision needs to be both general and specific, idealistic and practical. lets consider
health ambition security hobbies friends charity spirituality education fun >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

finally for now lesson 3 asks that you brainstorm values
you list circa 20
come on , please get serious and do this for you , recovery is attainable but it does need work , show that you are prepared to put that work in

remember the only person that can make these changes is you, so the hard work needs to come from you
looking forwards to reading your posts and wishing you all the best

Remember recovery is more than abstinence
Every transition begins with an ending
Do not confuse happiness with seeking pleasure
stay healthy keep safe

Honestly I have all good intentions...... I've been with this addiction so long now that I feel I've become an empty shell of a person and my mind goes partially blank. Hard to explain. Only 4 days in really and I'm starting to reactivate a few genuine feelings and will hopefully get on a roll with that :) Your feedback is truly appreciated.
