This is something I wrote soon after D-day. It's been 10 months but this past week or so I am really struggling and these words really capture how I have been feeling.

Your compulsive urges and actions have become my intrusive thoughts.
Your high has become my rock bottom.
Your secrets and lies have become my reality.
Your freedom has become my jail.
I live my worst nightmare.

I'm so sorry you are going through a tough time. This situation is so overwhelming on some days. What you wrote really rings true. I'm going to show it to my husband, as it describes this gift he's given to me in a nutshell. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I showed my husband too. They will never get the extent of the damage they've done
