Hi THtQ,

Some interesting observations in your post, in particular
Quote:
Most at risk of porn after alcohol consumption, tiredness or boredom.

As you know, the fundamental issue with SAs is that they make emotional rather than values based decisions around sex. Emotions is the key here and we have allowed it to influence us greatly. What you should take note of is that tiredness and boredom can be the origins of things for you and both of these are types of emotion. Frustration (e.g. partner rejects initiation of sex) and anger (argument at home/work) are examples of others which we all experience too. A helpful first step is therefore awareness that a negative emotion can be a big trigger for you and then to be aware of this. When you experience one of these emotions (e.g. you argue with someone) then to have an alarm bell go off in your head to forewarn you that you are vulnerable to urges (to help you supposedly improve your mental state) would be a very useful first step towards recovery.

Agreed the massage stuff when that popped up was a period of my life where I was extremely stressed and in retrospect I wasn't coping. Anxiety and depression mixed with work and home front pressures meant I wasn't coping.

I am much more aware these days.

Thanks so much for your input
