Hello G
Quote:
I'm fully focussed on the 12 step programme right now.

- that's maxing out what I can cope with.

I say use every useful tool in the box and with your other comment

so that feels like progress.

sounds good

however do please be aware that recovery is much more than coping, it needs to become a way of life it needs to be the norm and you and only you are responsible and accountable for that

keep moving forwards

I've got a sponsor who is giving me a question per day which takes about an hour to answer, plus a half hour call to him and I'm supposed to make 3 other calls to fellows so - with a full time job and a family - that's maxing out what I can cope with.

Hi Guided,
As someone that goes to an SAA group every week and find it extremely helpful in my recovery, I will say keep up the good work.
I will also say though that I was a lot more prepared because I had completed RN's workshop before doing anything further than going to the meetings.

Seeing your schedule and listening to people at SAA, I sometimes wonder whether they are swapping one addiction for another.

Please do not take that the wrong way, just something I have noticed from other fellows.

As Kenzo said using all the tools available is a good thing :g:
