II. Consider the values that surround both your healthy and unhealthy patterns. Are they consistent with your current prioritized values? If yes, wonderful. If not, how might this awareness alter how you are currently perceiving/managing your recovery? Share your thoughts in the community forum.

Many of my healthy patterns are consistent with my prioritized values, some of my unhealthy patterns are not consistent with my prioritized values.

Unhealthy patterns:
Such as how ,when I get sexually triggered I subconsciously have tendencies to believe there's no more hope, thinking to myself “I might as well indulge in this sin”. Through this mindset,I will perceive my recovery tangent to how many days I stay off watching porn and masturbating as the only thing that matters, thus during the first few days/weeks I feel miserable , regardless of how much I changed in my lifestyle for the good.
If I take an outlook, where these triggers are welcomed as opportunities to showcase my new skills of managing them, I will find more success this way. Which will coalign with my values of lowering the gaze.

Another unhealthy pattern is pre planned deception. How when I'm triggered I do several actions that build up to the relapse.get my phone, stroll through facebook, google, youtube callously, look at the most provocative things, and get triggered, when you're triggered you relapse because you think that it's a must to do, rather its your emotions that are getting the best of you, you're really not that turned on, you're anxious, feel discomfort and feel that something is missing, so you go for that dopamine fix. This scenario has an effect on your recovery, you think youre hopeless, rather you're not equipped with the skills to manage temptation yet.
