Hi everyone,

As Jon's Gems is still being worked on, I've found it somewhat frustrating that there are so many gems of wisdom on this site and on this board, that tend to get "lost in the mix" simply because the thread gets pushed down and constantly needs to be bumped. So, both as a resource for beginners and those who've made some progress and still like to read Jon's old posts, I am making a "key threads" topic, as this can both point people in the right direction and also prevent duplicate questions from being asked on subjects that have already been addressed numerous other places. While you should obviously read the welcome forum, the board rules, how to post, etc., this thread will serve more as a compendium to keep insightful threads organized and in a place where they're easy to find for everyone. I have included posts from CoachJon, as well as posts from others that I thought were quite helpful, and a few of my own that I'm particularly proud of. It's a bit jumbled at the moment; I'll work on organizing it into sections over time.

I will continue to edit this post as I have time to find more threads or as threads are created. You are welcome to post any threads on here that you feel are crucial on here as well...along with any tips from your own recovery thread that you found particularly insightful, if applicable. In keeping with privacy and safety, please DO NOT post things from other people's individual self-help threads, simply so that things said in someone's personal threads are not published on the community forums. As well, if you have suggestions for me to add to the main list, please let me know and I can add them under their respective sections
