I started this recovery program on october 17th last year. It's been very insightful and quite helpful. Recently I've been going through a longer period of setbacks. Well, only a week but it's been enough to disorient me.
I realize that I haven't been very honest when doing some of the assignments - specifically health monitoring 1 and 2 (at the moment i've just begun reading about boundaries) and those of the assignments that require active focus on something for a day or a couple of days.

I have thought about it and come to the conclusion that I'd like to re-do these; especially health monitoring 1, it has slipped away from me. My thought was to start from there and then just re-read the old assignments until i reach another assignment I'd like to re-do until I am up to speed.

Has anyone else done this? I am interested to read what you think.

Hi Tilea
there is certainly no shame of starting over
indeed quite the opposite
I did the whole programme twice over and gained so much more during the second time around
I thought that after completion of the programme that I had made it
I was wrong
at least you have recognised shortfalls in your recovery and have decided to address them :g:
personally I would start over but that is a choice for what suits you best
I am confident that you are aware enough of your own strengths and more importantly your weaknesses to ensure that you make that right choice

Hi Tilea,
It took me three attempts to really connect. On the fourth attempt, I finally connected and just completed the program. I still go back and work on areas that I'm deficit at. Completing the program means to me that my new healthy life is just beginning and I will continue monitoring as long as I live.
Just your knowing that you want to return and improve is a great positive. As coach said, going back to the beginning is OK, which is what I did four times.

Hi Tilea32,
there is a thread by CoachBoundless addressing this in great detail. You can find it here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=23901
All the best!
Ursula
