Seeking advice for the following subject as I have just recently started on my commitment to recovery.
I have received messages from the contacts for my previous sexual encounters.
I am able to ignore and block the messages from coming into my mobile phone now.
However, I do see the possibility that they might still contact me in other ways in future (eg. using an alternative number or calling directly).
The only way that I can think of totally lose the contacts is probably by changing my mobile number and service provider.
Should that be the approach to take or are there any other recommendations?
Is direct confrontation with these contacts recommended?

Hi Healzen
I am probably the last person to provide advice regarding the technicalities of today's technological communication devices

but I do know that to move forwards in recovery then you do need to cut links and that means all links with your addicted past

no "file just in case"
delete , delete and block

RN recommends direct confrontation only with our own compulsive behaviours,
we are responsible for our actions and history, what could be gained from confrontation of your contacts, remember where the blame lays

making amends is a different matter but that is way down the line in our programme

hope this helps

Thank you coach Kenzo for the reply and wisdom in those words.
I will do what is necessary to confront my own compulsion and not others.
