I am a forgiving woman.
I accept others for who they are.
I do not judge.
I am able to let go.
I have control of my thoughts - my thoughts do not control me.
I recognize when I am off-balance and I am able to regain my balance by knowing myself.

I chose to believe that change is easy.
I am safe. It's just change. :g:
I open new doors to life.

And the card:

"I see clearly.
I willingly forgive,
I breath love into my vision,
and I see with compassion and understanding.
My clear insight is reflected in my outer sight."

"I am safe; it's only change.
I cross all bridges with joy and ease.
The "old" unfolds into wonderful new experiences.
My life gets better all the time."

That's all true! :g:
In spite of it all, my life does get better all the time.
I just found out I am going to be a grandma. :ex:
And my dear daughter made a lot of effort to tell me first after her husband of course.
My children have always filled my heart and my life. I can hardly contain the excitement at being a grandma!! :ex: She's almost 30 and my next daughter is 24. I've wondered if they had just decided to just not have children. I started when I was 16 and gave them permission to rebel against this family trend and radically wait until they were much older! lol They are both hard at work in college, my oldest in the middle of her doctoral program in clinical psychology. Smart girls!

There is no competition and no comparison,
for we are all different and meant to be that way.

It is my birthright to live fully and freely.
I give to Life exactly what I want Life to give me.

"In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete.
I support myself, and life supports me.
I see evidence of The Law working all around me and in every area of my life.
I reinforce that which I learn in joyous ways.
My day begins with gratitude and joy.
I look forward with enthusiasm to the adventures of the day, know that in my life, "All is good."
I love who I am and all that I do.
I am the living, loving, joyous expression of life.
All is well in my world."
~ Louise Hay

I am worthy of love
I am worthy of respect
I am worthy of compassion
I am worthy of appreciation
I am a wonderful woman
I am a wonderful woman
I am beautiful
I am vulnerable
But I am strong

"The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond."

~ The Essential Rumi

This is a meditation of letting go and release that I found last year. I found it so helpful that I hand wrote it in my journal and read it from time to time to focus and ground me. It was written to let go of a bad year, but it could be "addressed" to anything or anyone.

Quote:
Hello, old _____ [me - I inserted the fallout from ddays, his affairs, even my former employer etc]. I see it is time for you and I to part. In my mind's eye, I look back and I see all that you and I accomplished together and I am grateful for those things. I see all that you and I did not accomplish, and I am grateful for the lessons of those things.

It is with this gratitude and thanks that I now release and let go of all that we were, knowing that I have grown from the experience; knowing that I am different than I was and that I no longer have use for what was, but look at the present state of what is and look forward to what will be.

I release and let go of all the negative emotions that I had in _____, no matter what might have caused them to surface. I recall back to me all of my energy that I spent and sent out in negative thought and feeling. I recall back to me also all of the positive energy that I gave out, knowing that only I can use my own energy.

I fully release and let go of the people, events and things from _____ that no longer serve my highest purpose. I release them joyously, and with a glad and grateful heart for the lessons learned. I wish them well, and I wish them gone from my life so that I may invite in new people, new events and new things that are better aligned to who I am now.

I say Goodbye to you, _______. You were what you were; and I am thankful for the many things I experienced during your time. And so it is.
