Hi everyone. This will be my last posting. The SA in my life died on Friday night. After 30 years of alcohol abuse his poor scarred liver packed in. It will have been a mercifully quick death.

And this morning, cancer finally took the life of my beautiful, kind, compassionate mother after our 29 hour vigil at her side.

So it is time for me to move on. I would like to thank.everyone. for keeping this site going; it is a fantastic support network.

Partners: remember, we.can't save them. We can support and encourage, but if they can't do it for themselves, we can't do it for them. Some people seem to be wired to self-destruct and those are the ones we.may just have to let go with love. So love them but make sure you keep enough of yourself safe.to draw.upon if they blow. You have the right to happiness too.

Hugs to you all.

Shellshocked.

Oh ShellShocked, I'm so sorry - that is an awful lot of loss to deal with. You must be reeling.
Sending you my deepest sympathies.

Shellshocked, I am so, so sorry. Sending you my compassion and sympathy.

And, so optimistic that after your grief you will find joy and peace again.

Dear shell shocked,
I feel both sad and happy for you. Sadness for your losses, and happiness that you are able to move on and focus on new things in life. Thank you for being part of our community.

I am sorry for your losses, shellshocked.

Even though the person who is the reason you are here is no longer alive, this does not mean the work is irrelevant. I have always believed that this work that we do here is relevant and so important for all people (i.e. the vision, values and boundaries development). Know that you are always welcome. Your healing is still important and relevant, but maybe not the current focus at the time of your grieving.

Be well
