A member wrote in his thread that perhaps taking more time to read other users recovery threads might make him more motivated.

personally I never read any other member posts until I became a mentor
I did this because it was my journey my recovery my thoughts and decisions however I did derive great benefit from other threads after I started mentoring
When questions that slow our progress or cause confusion arise the community forum is there to help and the mentors do step up
I do accept that we are all different and some members are loathe to ask for input and hence the back up is to refer to the threads or those who have trodden the path already
After the required archiving of last year many of the lesson responses are no longer available however I believe that those itemised below can provide insight as and when that need arises
But I would always recommend asking the question here on this forum the best chosen path, nobody is here to judge and we hsve all been there
