Welcome to Recovery Nation
Registration
You need only register for Recovery Nation once. That single registration will be used to grant you access to all areas of the site that you are eligible to use. If you are coming to RN as a couple, each of you will need to register, but only once. Should you eventually decide that you would like personal coaching, those additional areas will be unlocked upon that registration. Once you have submitted your registration, please allow us up to 3 days to validate your account. You will be notified by email of when your account is active.
Which Path Should I Follow?
That is a decision that only you can make. The following are the two main options:
Individual Recovery Path
If you have come to the site seeking a permanent end to your addiction and to rebuild a healthy life, and you have no significant romantic partner, your current partner is unaware of your addiction, or either you or your partner are uncertain as to whether you want your to relationship to continue, then this is the path you want to follow. It will allow you to understand your addiction and develop the tools necessary to not just overcome that addiction, but to learn how to develop and manage a healthy life.
The primary tool on this path is the Recovery Workshop — which is a comprehensive series of lessons (70+) divided into five distinct stages of progressive development. Each lesson has activities to assist you in integrating the learning material into your unique, personal life. The other primary tool that you will be using will be the Recovery Forum, where you will have the option of posting your lesson responses for feedback from volunteer coaches and mentors; and to ask questions to the recovery community to support your understanding of addiction, recovery and the transition to health. Two supplemental tools will also be at your disposal: the Recovery Checklist — which you will use down the road to monitor for fundamental weaknesses in the foundation you will be building; and the Recovery Manager — which will provide you with a single storage area with which to maintain an updated version of the most important information needed for achieving and maintaining health.

Individual Partner’s Healing Path
If you have come to the site seeking to understand your partner’s addiction and the affects it has had on your life; seeking to regain balance and stability following the traumatic discovery of your partner’s addiction; or seeking contrast between a healthy recovery process and an unhealthy one AND you have either already ended your relationship with this person, you are unsure if you want to continue this relationship, your partner is unwilling/unable to commit himself to a healthy recovery then this is the path that you will want to choose.
The primary tool on this path is the Partner’s Healing Workshop — which is a comprehensive series of lessons (50+) divided into seven stages of learning. Unlike the recovery workshop, there is much more flexibility in terms of which stages you choose to learn from. Each lesson has activities to assist you in integrating the learning material into your unique, personal life. The other primary tool that you will be using will be the Partner’s Healing Forum, where you will have the option of posting your lesson responses for feedback from volunteer coaches and mentors; and to ask questions to the partner’s community to support your understanding of addiction, recovery and your own transition to health. Two supplemental tools will also be at your disposal: the Healing Checklist — which you will use down the road to monitor for fundamental weaknesses in the foundation you will be building; and the Partner’s Healing Manager — which will provide you with a single storage area with which to maintain an updated version of the most important information needed for achieving and maintaining health.
